The latest calculation of the northbound Bunker Adjustment Factor [BAF] has resulted in an increase in the required level of BAF for cargo to Europe. Consequently, effective 13TH October 2005, the BAF will be increased from US$325.00/teu to US$365.00/teu. The ongoing bunker price situation is kept under constant review, and we will advise you as and when any further adjustments either upward or downward to the level of the BAF become warranted.
